  • We distribute food every Saturday from 9:30 to 11:00 am.

  • Yes.

  • We mainly operate as a drive-thru, however, pedestrians are welcome as well!

    If you arrive by car, turn into the parking lot marked by the Food Bank sign. Please stay in your car and follow the traffic controllers directions to join the distribution line.

    If you arrive on foot, just walk up to any volunteer wearing a yellow or orange vest, and tell them you are here to pick up food.

  • The new location is near the P32 bus line, the closest stop being Adelphi Road and Tulane Drive (an approximately 6 minute walk).

  • You just need to show up – no need to bring any qualifying information. Everyone who attends will receive food. On your first visit, we will register you and provide a barcoded card for you to use on subsequent visits. The information we collect is minimal: zip code, age, number of people in your family and phone number so that we can look up your information in case you forget your card.

    • Fresh produce is distributed every week. The specific selection varies depending on the season and what has been donated.

    • Non-perishable food is distributed every week. The selection may include the following: (existing sub-bullets are fine…no change)

    • Other perishable items, such as meat, dairy products and baked items, may be distributed depending on what has been donated.

    • Other non-food items, such as baby products, hygiene items, and pet food, may be distributed depending on what has been donated.

  • No! The majority of our visitors pick up food through our drive through, but visitors traveling by other means are welcome to pick up food too. We usually have a pedestrian station placed closest to the entrance. You can also approach any of the volunteers during distribution and ask to pick up food.
